What Makes You Eligible For A Free NHS Eye Test?
- Under 16 years of age
- Between the ages of 16-18 and in Full Time Education
- Receiving Benefit- Income Support, Income based Job Seekers Allowance, Universal Credit, Income Based Employment Support Allowance
- If you are entitled to or named on a valid Tax Credit Exemption Certificate
- Named on a valid HC2 (Full Help) or HC3 (Partial Help) Certificate
- Eligible for an NHS Complex Lens Voucher which would be issued and advised by your Optometrist if required
ALL OF THE ABOVE MAY ALSO INCLUDE AN NHS VOUCHER WHICH COULD CONTRIBUTE TO FREE GLASSES IF REQUIRED
What Medical Conditions Are Required For Free NHS Eye Test Eligibility?
- Diagnosed with Diabetes
- Possesses risk of Glaucoma as advised by an Ophthalmologist
- Is the Parent, Son, Daughter, Sister or Brother of an individual diagnosed with Glaucoma
- Partially sighted or Registered Blind
